I think anybody looking for something to watch in the Spring or Summer nights can't lose with Kojak. Nothing tops Classic Hawaii Five O for me but Kojak has excellent written episodes and very good acting. It's only 5 seasons and you could probably knock out 1 DVD a month starting in April. The Kojak movies I was surprised at their quality. Loved seeing Kario Salem as 1 of the detectives. You might remember him as young Stevens in Deadly Persuasion Season 8. Remember circumstantial evidence.
Like the Classic Hawaii Five O analysis, Mr. Mike's rating of the Kojak episodes are pretty much on target. Some of my FAV Kojak episodes are Lady In The Squadroom (A Joan Van Ark Fan), May The Horse Be With You. I liked Monkey On A String as well. The Chinatown Murders was an excellent episode as well.
