During the Mahalo Con Hawaii Five-O Convention in Honolulu in 1996, fans of the show got a rare opportunity to congregate on the famous Ilikai Hotel balcony where Jack Lord is seen standing in the show's main credits (and Alex O'Loughlin in the current show's credits too). Jerry Pickard, who is filming, points out some of the landmarks seen in the distance. Following this is a brief look at people lining up for the final luau at the Tahitian Lanai.
